How it works
Magnetic alignment, mechanical security. The magnets aim the buckle for you. A metal latch is what actually holds it shut.

STAGE 01
Bring the two ends near each other and the magnets pull them into position. You don't have to look, aim, or use both hands.
STAGE 02
Interior grapple claws grab a grooved post inside the buckle. That mechanical lock is what carries the load, not the magnet.
STAGE 03
A low-pressure button opens it when you decide to. The latches stay closed until you press.
The question everybody asks
The magnet is the aiming system, not the lock. Once the ends touch, interior grapple claws latch onto a grooved post and stay latched until the release buttons are pressed. Pulling on the leash pulls against steel, not magnetism.

Sizing
Two measurements and a tape measure. If your dog is between sizes, email a photo and a weight and MagnePup will call it for you.
Measure around the widest part of your pup's torso, usually right behind the armpits of the front legs.
Where a harness sits, on the lower neck and upper chest.
Where a collar sits, about halfway between the chest and the head.
Leave room for two fingers between the gear and your pup. That's snug without being tight.
